II NATIONAL MEETING CALL TO ALTERNATIVES ORGANIZATIONS

28 and May 29, 2011

In order to follow up and continue the exchange of ideas and proposals expressed in the First National Alternatives Organizations, held on November 28, 2010 , we are convening a second meeting ,

WHEREAS:

1 . With a turnout of more than 130 people, 35 organizations, the First we confirmed that, while respecting the autonomy and diversity of approaches of each participant, the alternative organizations have many similarities in the diagnosis of national and international situation and the need to transform society to achieve justice, equality, fraternity, freedom and democracy. That was a first step to find ways where we can combine our efforts that lead to the fulfillment of those desires.

2. In a world of economic and political crisis, our country is plunged into a severe economic problems, political and social, which has resulted in a maelstrom of violence, insecurity and lack of respect for individual rights. The division of powers, which is envisioned as a possibility since 1997, is on the wane, with an unworthy judiciary to the executive and legislature virtually absent in his role as counter and contain the excesses and arbitrariness of executive and judicial

3. The revolutionary movements in Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, Yemen, Libya and, in general, the Arab region and North Africa, with its many implications for countries around the world, through which people seek to restore their sense of word democracy (government by the people) and what happened in Venezuela in 2002 where the people turned back a coup, and last year in Ecuador where the people defeated an attempted coup, promote reflection and learning, and encourage and oblige us to seek unity in diversity of different forms of struggle that are developing in our country. In that unity of effort is that we are calling these meetings to advance organization and prepare to move power to the current political class in Mexico as peacefully as possible.

4. The tragedy of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11, 2011 is international economic conflicts escalate with rising oil prices, as well as other products in that country has played a leading world (cars, electronics, etc..), making it necessary to look for alternatives to production mode predatory capitalism and its effects on the nature and level of dignity of human life.
