CONSECRATION CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION VIII in Belalcazar

About 200 brothers and sisters of the Franciscan family gathered, the past, May 11 to celebrate the opening of VIII Centenary of the Consecration of Santa Clara and the founding of the Order of the Poor Sisters in the Monastery of Jesus of Belalcázar column. With the presence of sisters in the monasteries Andalusia Federation, the Secular Franciscan Order, the Provincial Minister, the Assistant of the Federation, Br Tahoces Manuel Fernandez and brothers of the fraternity of Belalcazar, Loreto, Merida and San Buenaventura, the day started with welcoming words of Mother President of the Federation, Sor Inmaculada González Sánchez, in the monastery church to play later in an original liturgy, the route in the early stages of conversion and consecration of Santa Clara. Following the cross of San Damiano, which Clara prayed for 40 years, various parts of the monastery served as a reminder of vocation, on Palm Sunday of 1211 and the consecration in Portiuncula. Texts of the Gospel, Letters to Santa Agnes of Prague, the Testament of Santa Clara and the Fioretti placed the liturgy. The voice and guitar of Juan Yagüe crowned the act that ended his letter: "Now I'm Clara from God." Food fraternal said the gift of unique charisma and prepared to move to another table, the Bread and the Word, the Eucharist presided by the Minister Provincial, Fr Joaquin Dominguez Serna and other celebrants. Some beautiful words about life, spirituality and current Clare of Assisi punctuated his homily. The opening concluded with the delivery of a ceramic incense burner, incense smoking, that Friars Minor Monastery presented each Mother's Federation and President. Then came the Rite of shipment, in which after a prayer, the Mother Provincial Minister and President presented each participant a candle to the memory of the centenary and written Lifestyle Francisco for Santa Clara.
